Business Development and Account Manager

Our client is an innovative boutique consultancy with a team that is driven by the purpose of helping the lives of people and businesses through safe practices, information and frameworks.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Maintaining, developing and retaining new and current relationships
  • Management and coordination of all customer account related activities across the business
  • Qualify prospects, conduct product demonstrations and prepare sales proposals
  • Identify new product opportunities through contact with clients
  • Regularly analyse sales data to identify revenue opportunities
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections

To be successful in this role you will possess/be:
  • Self motivated with a positive attitude
  • Energetic and have superior interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional relationship building, communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate a successful background developing new business whilst managing accounts
  • Proven track record in sales, business development and winning new business
  • Computer literate
  • Tertiaty qualified
  • Knowledge of environmental and workplace safety compliance industry ideal but not required
