Customer Sales and Service Coordinator

Our client is looking for a customer-oriented sales and service coordinator. This person will have a positive, resilient and confident personality and will act as a liaison with major accounts, provide product/services information, process orders, complete quotes, negotiate sales and resolve any customer related matters.
Previous experience working in the Aluminium / Steel construction industry and using SAP is highly desired.

Responsibilities include; but not limited to:- Manage incoming calls
- Accurate and prompt data entry of sales orders
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Generate sales leads and provide quotations to customers within price guidelines and follow up
- Provide customers with ongoing technical and product support
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Meet personal/customer sales and service team sales targets and call KPI’s
- Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers and build relationships with internal & external customers
- General Administration
Requirements:- Proven customer sales and support experience (2-5 years’ experience)
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Computer literate and familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- SAP Experience (preferred although not essential)
- Aluminium industry system knowledge (preferred although not essential)
