Engineering Development Manager | Based in Shenzhen, China
Our client is a world-renowned manufacturer located in Shenzhen, China. They collaborate with international household brands such as Electrolux, Breville, Cuisinart and Swissmar to produce high quality products including kitchen appliances, hair & beauty appliances and vacuum cleaners that are currently selling in major retail chains!
The role:
As part of the growing development of our client we are seeking an Engineering Development Manager to maintain and develop the home appliance electronic & development team.
Responsibilities include:
- Development of product, including SMPS design, multi-MCU system hardware, multi-MCU system software design and electronic design verification, Bluetooth and Wifi connectifity, prototype build and product construction verification and validation
- Provide documentation and supporting diagram information for Patent Registration and produce technical reports
- Design and cost saving analysis
- Manage internal and external projects and recommend areas for improvement on products
- Control technical solutions to ensure product performance, cost control, quality and compliance to relevant specification and safety standards
- Implement, maintain and improve ISO procedures

Requirements:- Proficient language skills in English and Mandarin desired
- Tertiary Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics
- Extensive experience in developing electro mechanical product. Product experience with Home appliances eg. Personal care, Healthcare, Medical, Cooking and Beverages are desired
- International Standards knowledge
- Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, DFA, DFT, Tolerance Analysis, 2D Rig Samples
- Familiar with ISO 9000
