Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Routine analysis of raw materials and finished products by HPLC, UPLC, and LC-MS
• Review analytical data
• Perform out-of-specification investigations
• Data entry
• General laboratory housekeeping
• Maintaining consumable item stock levels

To be successful, we are looking for the following:

• A formal qualification in chemistry or a related discipline
• Demonstrable experience in the use of Waters Empower chromatography data management software
• Strong attention to detail
• A clear understanding of chemical safety
• A clear understanding of good laboratory practices
• The ability to work both autonomously and in a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• A working knowledge of standard office applications such as MS Word and Excel

It will also be beneficial, but not essential, for you to have:

• Experience in Waters instrumentation troubleshooting and maintenance,
• GC, GC-MS experience,
• ICP experience
