HR Business Partner - Part Time | 6 month fixed term contract
- Fixed term contract – 6 months (with view to extend to 12 months)
- Part time 0.5FTE – working days flexible
- Based in Hawthorn East with travel to other sites as required

- Salary package $90-100k pro rata
Our client is looking for a talented HR Business Partner with a strong HR generalist and employee relations background to join their team.
The role:Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be working in a business partnering model and will be responsible for providing HR support and advice to staff, managers and the Executive team. You will work closely with client managers to improve people performance and support positive workplace cultures and have opportunities to work on various projects the team is currently undertaking.
Responsibilities:- Support and coach operational managers on HR matters in line with company values and culture. Especially in performance management, grievances and other ER issues
- Manage people related projects, process improvements and change initiatives
- Provide advice, training and guidance on policies, procedures, legislation and enterprise agreements to internal stakeholders
- Assist with recruitment initiatives including project managing relevant vacancies
- Contribute to wider People Development projects such as workforce planning, attraction and retention strategies and employee engagement
Requirements:- HR Generalist qualifications or similar
- Solid HR generalist experience (ideally in a health, aged care setting or other fast paced, unionised setting)
- Experience in handling IR/ER matters and related legislative requirements
- Proven ability to lead change projects and engage stakeholders
- Experience in investigating and resolving employee relations matters
- The capacity to deal with multiple, and often competing, priorities
- A high degree of drive and initiative, and a strong focus on delivering results
