HR Manager

The role:

You will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to Managers and Stakeholders on all people related initiatives and issues. With a key focus on maximising engagement across the workforce you will be able to communicate and coach at all levels, be a self-starter, demonstrate strong problem solving and project management skills and have been previously exposed to all aspects of HR at a Senior level.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Managing and overseeing the recruitment and selection process through recruitment partners
  • Provide successful resourcing solutions; ensure quality of staffing to meet the resource requirements of the business utilising recruitment business partners for the resourcing
  • Assist Senior Managers with quality support and advice on how best to manage their team to maintain and improve our working environment and culture
  • Deliver successful solutions to employee relations and industrial relations issues, consult regarding employee relations issues which comply with local employment laws
  • Overall OH&S
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc HR updates to Directors
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment

  • Degree level qualification in HR or a related field and a proven track record
  • A minimum of 15 years HR experience is required with evidence of successful HR projects
  • Experience with Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation and negotiation is essential
  • Demonstrated experience in execution of HR activities and deliverables
  • Strong management, strategic planning and goal-setting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
