This position undertakes daily functions in the Packaging QC and Packaging New Product Development (NPD) Departments, assisting the Packaging QC and NPD Managers respectively.
Responsibilities:Quality Control (QC):- Out of specification investigation, non-conformance reporting, material rejection.
- Responsible for establishing AQLs for production
- Collecting and entering data for packaging reports and studies
- Administer the auditing program for packaging suppliers
New Production Development (NPD)- Responsible for packaging development
- Responsible for artwork approval procedure
- Evaluation of new or modified packaging and artwork
General:- Assist in daily QC sampling and testing when required
- Collect and distribute warehouse items when requested from other departments
- Cleaning and tidying up of Packaging Departments
- Mailing out samples to customers as required
- General filing and administration tasks
What we're looking:- Hands-on, self-motivated personality, willingness to learn with a can do positive attitude
- Good computer skills, pharmaceutical, food or FMCG manufacturing experience
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Good organisation skills, ability to prioritise, be resourceful and flexible
- Capable of working individually or as part of a team
Ideally you will have:- Artwork exposure
- Exposure to QC principles
- Exposure to investigations
Must haves:- PR, AU or NZ Citizenship
- 1 - 3+ years in a similar role
