Production Scheduler / Planner - Manufacturing

This is rare opportunity for an experienced Production Scheduler / Planner to join a progressive, cutting edge, reliable Australian Pharmaceutical company based in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs.
The successful candidate will have recent manufacturing experience in inventory control and production scheduling / planning in a fast-paced, pharmaceutical, food or FMCG environment and will be responsible to plan, prioritize, and optimize the product output of the department.
Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, analyse and coordinate the schedule to produce various product lines
- Liaise with Customers, Suppliers, Sales, Finance, HR and other stakeholders to determine manpower, raw materials, and machinery available to cover production demand
- Execute the production schedule to achieve inventory goals, analyse capacity needs to develop/implement realistic manufacturing schedules and project future demands
- Review Daily Production Schedule and monitor costs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Participate in monthly planning and forecast based monthly sales and operations
- Prepare reports and analyse data about production processes and suggest ways to improve efficiency

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment and work well with all levels of management
- Ability to work in a fast paced working environment
Requirements:- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Operations, Business or Finance desired
- Relevant work experience or demonstrated proficiency for the position
- High degree of computer literacy required, including advanced Microsoft Excel, VBA and ERP systems
