Senior Electrical Project Manager

Due to our client’s continued growth and increase in projects they are looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager who has proven track record in delivering large scale electrical, communications and technology based projects with a strong understanding of key project parameters, project financials, controls and reporting.
Responsibilities include; but not limited to:- Project planning using Gantt charts, forecasting materials and labor matrixes
- Labor control by supervising labor on the projects, quality of work, timesheets and safety
- Plan, coordinate and implement project deliverables
- Liaise with external project personnel (consultants, contractors, project managers) ensuring a high level of communication
- Contract variations, monitoring requests and ensuring approval is obtained
- Reporting to the operations management team on all matters relating to the project, such as project plan, cost-to complete and plant and equipment on the job
- Plant and equipment management on the job
- Managing a small admin team to perform key functions to ensure smooth delivery of projects from an administration aspect
- Mentor and develop our up and coming project managers and leaders with your experience
- Develop relationships with key clients and suppliers
Requirements:- Experience in large scale electrical, communications and technology projects on time, within budget and to specifications
- Experience in managing projects with scope project values up to $3M+
- Strong commercial acumen
- Good understanding of project management tools, software and apps (Work bench preffered)
- Great client management abilities and employee management skills
- An understanding of bid management and estimating processes
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills
- High attention to detail
- Electrical qualification
- Degree qualified desired but not essential
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia to be eligible for this role
