The role:

You will be able to work on designing, implementing and supporting a variety of internal software development projects. The company has a forward-looking get-things-done culture and current exciting projects include interfacing with state of the art robotics. You will also require Sharepoint, SQL and Javascript knowledge and be responsible for implementing and support a full range of development projects including front-end, back-end and UX. As part of the software development team, you will be responsible for developing, testing, improving and maintaining new and existing projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions
• Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server
• Actively participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment
• Administrative and maintenance tasks of the platform are executed timely, proactively and with a high degree of precision and adherence to guidelines

Key requirements:

• Minimum 3 years industry development experience using the Microsoft Technology Stack e.g. C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio and SQL Server
• Minimum of 2 years of development experience relating to SharePoint and related applications
• Exceptional communication skills, including interpersonal and written skill
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• An ability to understand front-end users requirements and love problem-solving
• B.Comp.Sci degree, Diploma in Computer Programming or similar not required but highly desirable
