Stores Operator Driveway Yard Attendant with a HR Truck & Forklift Licence

A well-regarded industry leader, they are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Stores Operator Driveway Attendant with a HR Truck & Forklift Licence to join their growing team where training, commitment to safety and future growth are on offer.

Role summary and requirements:

To ensure that inwards and outwards goods are efficiently and safely processed ensuring the business needs are met within company policies, procedures, safe work practises. A high level of communication and coordination is expected to ensure traffic flow demand is met safely and efficiently. A flexible approach is required to any evolving challenges and meet the business needs. High standard of customer care and attention to detail is required.

Qualifications / Experience:

• High level of safe work practise
• High risk work licence (LF)
• HR Truck License (preferred)
• Experience with loading / unloading various trucks and related safe work practises

Skills / Requirements:

• High Safety Awareness
• Physically fit – ability to lift heavy objects and manually handle goods
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Able to multi-task and work in a busy environment
• Good computer skills and attention to detail
• Decision making

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Ensure OH&S needs are met, and issues reported promptly
• Receipt of incoming and outgoing goods
• Ensure safe and efficient movement of traffic through site
• Responsible for received / outgoing goods
• Maintain Driveway and Yard housekeeping
• Maintain stock control and movement in the Yard and driveway
• Pick/Pack/Dispatch goods
• Wrap and transfer finished goods to store
• Assist Production with related tasks as required
• Coordinate with other departments to meet business needs ensuring driveway and traffic needs are met
• Work on multiple sites as required
• Ensure that OH&S policies and procedures, covering activities, are followed including a safe working environment through good housekeeping, as well as the -proper handling for all dangerous or hazardous goods

To be successful you must have PR, AU or NZ Citizenship. Have your own car and driver's licence. Be reliable and dependable.
